Sidney Museum, 2423 Beacon Ave. Victoria Quilter’s Guild feature traditiona­l hand quilters to fabric artists. Over 300 members donate 400+ quilts per year to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Victoria General Hospital. Admission by donation.

St. Elizabeth’s Church, 10030 Third St., Sidney With duo pianists Erin Zipper and Sandra Fletcher, and vocal soloists Anna Shill (soprano) and Tasha Farivar (mezzo-soprano), Via Choralis performs selections from Johannes Brahms’ ever-popular Liebeslied­er Walzer along with selections from the Renaissanc­e to the present day on the theme of Love. Written in Ländler style, the Liebeslied­er (lovesong) Walzes were perhaps influenced by Brahms’ frustrated love for Clara Schumann, wife of the composer Robert Schumann.
