MONDAY, MAY 21

120th Island Farms Victoria Day Parade. Victoria’s largest parade, featuring Canadian and American marching bands, community and commercial floats, cultural shows and festive clowns. Led by the Canadian Forces, this event is free and fun for the whole family. Begins 9 a.m. at Mayfair Mall and continues along Douglas Street finishing at Humboldt Street.

Second Annual Victoria Day Block Party with performers, bands, a bouncy castle, interactiv­e Lego builds, face-painting, food vendors, and beer garden. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Humboldt Street, between Government and Douglas streets. Activities and admission to the Maritime Museum of B.C. by donation.

Canvas Family Festival. Inflatable­s, games and arts and crafts booths, prizes, live music, face painting, tea, lemonade, hamburgers, and hotdogs. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. Free; canvaschur­ch.ca.
