REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE IN SIDNEY

Sunday, Nov. 11, 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. Town of Sidney

Each year, on Nov. 11, the Town of Sidney comes together to honour and pay tribute to our War Veterans. The Parade of Veterans begins at 10:30, starting at the Mary Winspear Centre, proceeds along Beacon Avenue, and ends at the Cenotaph in front of the Town Hall. The service includes two minutes of silence, wreath laying and a flypast. With its strong military ties, Sidney’s Remembrance Day Ceremonies are a beautiful demonstration of patriotism and remembrance. Info: 250-893-0093
