Canadian Screen Awards

-

March 12, Sony Centre. Presenting an award to Just for Laughs, Dave Chappelle—the rare American at the CSAs—praised Canada as the U.S.’s kinder, gentler “little gay brother that I didn’t know we had.” Xavier Dolan’s It’s Only the End of the World took home six out of 134 total trophies. If that sounds like a lot, it was: guests received energy bars to help make it through the show.
