Rising temperatur­es are one of the driving causes of global hunger: farmland is degrading, water is drying up and crops are failing. Saul, who was appointed to the Order of Canada this year, recently opened three new food centres, and is planning to open three more in the coming months: one in Toronto, one in Saskatchew­an and one in Iqaluit.
