Quebec’s cool Ice Hotel, now in its 14th year and built every winter just outside Quebec City, offers not just overnight stays, but daytime activities. Day passes to the property start at $18 per person and ramp up to $23 with access to the outdoor tube slide and four kilometres of snowshoeing trails.
A behind the scenes tour is available on weekends and must be booked in advance. For the adventurous, the courageous and the truly warm-blooded, the Ice Hotel’s accommodation packages include the northern discovery from $399.50 per person for a night at the Ice Hotel as well as a room at the Four Points by Sheraton Quebec (for showering, luggage storage and so on).
