One final omnibus bill, please
Re Resurrecting the mandatory census debate, Sept. 13 Abolition of the long-form census is an early entry in the litany of actions proving that Stephen Harper’s dishonesty is pathological. He believed the long-form census conveys much more bad news than good and used the pretense of privacy concerns to explain his decision.
Linda Keen and Kevin Page were human casualties of this same infirmity of the prime minister. Come Oct. 20, we shall need one last omnibus bill: The Great Undoing Act of 2015. Patrick Cowan, North York
