Liberals ignoring Brampton on transit

Re Referendum may be sought on Brampton LRT’s route, Sept. 9 The ultimatum by Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca to agree to the provincial plan to drive a sole-funded LRT through the middle of Brampton’s sleepy historic downtown shows the complete contempt the Ontario Liberal government has for local municipal governments and the decisions they make.

The plan is an ill-conceived one and the people who live in Brampton know it.
