Conservatives, Opinion Sept. 11 In his informative column, Maurice Switzer makes many salient points.

One that should gobsmack all readers into waking up about the inequities being foisted upon our First Nations by the federal government is: “More than 100 First Nations still lack safe potable water.”

Ask yourself: If only one community in southern Ontario lacked safe potable water, how long would it take to remedy the situation? George Czerny, Collingwood, Ont.
