NFL Picks: Peyton picks on press, press picks foes

Peyton Manning got a little snippy during a press conference this week, in his old age. The Broncos quarterback and beloved pitchman was being asked about his injuries, and turned the tables to give injury reports for reporters which included gout, carpal tunnel from texting sources, laryngitis “from ripping me all week,” and overall health. He’s a funny guy, Peyton, even if his arm strength is fading. But for sportswriters he missed a few classic cases: thinning hair, liquor-soaked livers, stress wrinkles, and occasional rabidity.
