We should protect Mars from humans

Re Editorial cartoon, Sept. 29 Sublimely cynical, but eminently believable. That was Theo Moudakis’ excellent cartoon on the predicted poor fate of Mars under any colonization by planet Earth.

I’m sure that earthlings would make a real mess of it if they got their hands on Mars — judging by the results, that is, of what they’ve been doing here for the past few centuries. Clive Dinham, Bloomfield, Ont.
