BULAWAYO, ZIMBABWE— New Zealand moved to 315-4 and was in complete control of the first test against Zimbabwe at stumps on the second day. Opener Tom Latham made 105 and new captain Kane Williamson 91 as the New Zealanders opened a firstinnings lead of 151 with six wickets in hand. Latham hit 12 fours in his fourth test century, and the two batsmen put on a 156-run stand for the second wicket.
Williamson just missed out on a century when he was beaten by Zimbabwe captain Graeme Cremer.
