TIFF unveils list of celebs set for red carpet,
Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway and Joseph GordonLevitt are among the stars bound for the Toronto International Film Festival.
The festival made its final programming announcements Tuesday, including its list of stars expected to walk the red carpet.
Other stars expected to attend include Xavier Dolan, Tom Ford, James Franco, Ewan McGregor, Adam Driver, Aaron Eckhart, Dakota Fanning, Woody Harrelson, Denzel Washington and Scarlett Johansson.
The festival also announced Mark Wahlberg will sit down for a chat in front of an audience.
The Oscar-nominated actor-director, who will be seen at the festival in Deepwater Horizon, is among the stars in the In Conversation With . . . lineup.
Other guests in that lineup include Palestinian actor-director Hiam Abbass, Brazilian actress Sonia Braga, French actress Isabelle Huppert, Indian director Karan Johar, Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and Nigerian film stars Kunle Afolayan and Genevieve Nnaji.
TIFF’s Discovery lineup includes the world premiere of Oscar-nominated filmmaker Nanette Burstein’s doc Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee.
The film profiles the software mogul who was recently a prospective presidential candidate for the American Libertarian Party.
The fest also unveiled its virtualreality selections for POP VR. They are Ch’aak’ S’aagi, Jafri, KA, Right to Pray and Invasion!
The festival runs Sept. 8 to 18.
