Keep in mind: While you can show up unannounced, it’s best to book in advance. The three-hour adventure course costs $45 for adults, $41 for youth (ages 12-15) and $36 for children (ages 9-11.) The two-hour zipline tour costs $45 for adults and $41 for youth. Children under 9 are barred from the adventure course, while children under 12 aren’t allowed on the zip-line tour. There are simpler courses on-site for children as young as 3 and there is a fully accessible zip line. For more information, or to book, visit parks.on.ca/attractions/skywoodeco-adventure-park. There is no food on site. Make sure to wear closed-toe shoes. When to go: Skywood Eco Adventure is open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, from mid-March to early November. Getting there: The park is 325 kilometres east of Toronto in Mallorytown, abutting the Thousand Islands. The drive mostly follows Highway 401. The park would make a great stop while visiting Kingston or the Thousand Islands. It’s also a good place to break up the long drive from Toronto to Montreal. You’ll need a car to get here. Where to stay: There are several waterfront campgrounds in Mallorytown. Visit mallorytown.ca for more details. Fifteen kilometres to the east, Brockville sports multiple hotels, motels and inns. There are also numerous accommodation options in Kingston, 70 kilometres to the west.
