Dog thrown from balcony, man charged
A 25-year-old man is facing twocharges after a dog was thrown from the seventh storey of an east-end apartment building on Monday.
Toronto police and the city’s animal services were called to 40 Firvalley Crt. in Scarborough at noon on Monday.
Const. Victor Kwong said the dog, which residents said was a beagle, had broken limbs but was reported to have still been breathing at the time 911 was called. The dog later died.
Adrian Foster is facing one count of kill/maim/wounding dog, and one count of wilfully causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
