Panthers, Rangers swap blueliners

SUNRISE, FLA.— The Florida Panthers acquired Dylan McIlrath from the New York Rangers on Tuesday, in exchange for Steven Kampfer and a conditional seventh-round selection in the 2018 NHL draft. Both players are defencemen who have appeared in one NHL game this season. McIlrath, the No. 10 pick in 2010, had four points in 38 games with the Rangers. Kampfer played134 games with Boston and Florida, scoring nine goals and adding 14 assists.
