Replay on track for 2018-19 season

LONDON— The Premier League plans to use video replay for the 2018-19 season, after other leagues and events work out the kinks. FIFA has been trying out video assistant referees at major events, while Germany’s Bundesliga will follow the Netherlands by adopting use of replay starting in August. Said Premier League executive chairman Richard Scudamore: “We want to make sure there isn’t too much interruption in the game. Therefore, all these things need to be tested through.”
