Russian fighters facing punishment
MOSCOW— Two Russian mixed martial arts fighters face sanctions following an alleged attack on an official after a decision went against one of them in the ring. Gadzhimurad Khiramagomedov lost a split decision to Georgy Kichigin at an event in Kazakhstan on Friday. Khiramagomedov and brother Gamzat later allegedly confronted the vice-president of the Russian MMA Union in a hotel and struck vice-president Radmir Gabdullin, leaving him with a concussion and a broken jaw.
