Air­borne Corvette lands on car in Bramp­ton crash

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospi­tal with se­ri­ous in­juries af­ter a spec­tac­u­lar crash that saw a Corvette land on top of a small car parked in the drive­way of a Bramp­ton home on Sun­day.

Bramp­ton fire­fight­ers had to ex­tri­cate the trapped driver of the Corvette fol­low­ing the crash, which hap- pened just be­fore 8 p.m. on Harold St. near Stan­ley Ct.

Pic­tures from the scene show the Corvette sit­ting per­pen­dic­u­lar on top of a Toy­ota Yaris.

The vic­tim was taken to a lo­cal hospi­tal with non-life-threat­en­ing in­juries, ac­cord­ing to Peel Re­gional Po­lice.

The cause of the crash is still un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion by Peel po­lice.
