Airborne Corvette lands on car in Brampton crash

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a spectacula­r crash that saw a Corvette land on top of a small car parked in the driveway of a Brampton home on Sunday.

Brampton firefighte­rs had to extricate the trapped driver of the Corvette following the crash, which hap- pened just before 8 p.m. on Harold St. near Stanley Ct.

Pictures from the scene show the Corvette sitting perpendicu­lar on top of a Toyota Yaris.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatenin­g injuries, according to Peel Regional Police.

The cause of the crash is still under investigat­ion by Peel police.
