Airborne Corvette lands on car in Brampton crash
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a spectacular crash that saw a Corvette land on top of a small car parked in the driveway of a Brampton home on Sunday.
Brampton firefighters had to extricate the trapped driver of the Corvette following the crash, which hap- pened just before 8 p.m. on Harold St. near Stanley Ct.
Pictures from the scene show the Corvette sitting perpendicular on top of a Toyota Yaris.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Peel Regional Police.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by Peel police.
