Base transit plans on facts

Re Secret report pans Scarborough subway, Nov. 7 Thank you to Jennifer Pagliaro for telling us the truth about what is happening at city hall. What happens with transit in Scarborough matters to us all. Thanks to all councillors who voted for side-by-side cost comparisons of the one-stop subway extension and the 24-stop LRT proposal. We deserve transparent decisionmaking based on planning principles. Our children should expect nothing less of us than to build the best system possible for their future. Let’s hope the mayor and council realize this responsibility and review this decision based on evidence. Lyn Adamson, Toronto
