Add Roy Halladay to Level of Excellence
Re The good doctor, Griffin, Nov. 8 The Toronto Star provided excellent coverage of the untimely death of Roy Halladay, especially Richard Griffin’s personal account of how Halladay took time to reassure his son of the importance of his birthday before meeting the media after his postseason no-hitter.
I think the best way Toronto could say thanks to Roy for being an outstanding pitcher and wonderful person would be to have the Blue Jays put his name on the Level of Excellence at Rogers Centre. I would suggest next August when the Philadelphia Phillies come to Toronto, so his two former teams would be on hand. Bill Gibson, Toronto
