What’s open and closed over the holidays

Most stores are closed on Christmas Day. Those looking to do final shops or errands should double-check store times before heading out.

Here’s a cheat sheet: Liquor

LCBOs open at regular hours, closed at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Stores will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day and will reopen Dec. 27.

Beer Stores open regular hours Christmas Eve, closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Malls

Eaton Centre is open Christmas Eve until 5 p.m., closed on Christmas, open 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Boxing Day.

Yorkdale is be open10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas Day and reopens Boxing Day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sherway Gardens will be open on Christmas Eve from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., closed on Christmas Day and open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Boxing Day. Grocery stores

Sobeys will be closed on Christmas Day, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Boxing Day.

No Frills stores will be closed Christmas Day and early on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Loblaws is closed Christmas Day. Metro will be closed at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, and reopen Boxing Day at 9 a.m.

Longo’s will be closed Christmas Day, operate on a reduced schedule Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Transit

The TTC will operate its Sunday service schedule on Christmas.

GO Transit’s on Saturday schedule Dec. 24. Christmas Day trains and buses operate on Sunday schedule.
