Eateries set to open in Assembly Chef’s Hall

Assembly Chef’s Hall opening All 18 restaurant­s inside Assembly Chef’ s Hall in the Richmond-Adelaide Centre ,111 Richmond St. W ., will be up and running by Jan. 8, organizers say.

Booths for the licensed space include spinoffs from Cherry Street BBQ, Los Colibris, Khao San Road and Love Chix. There will also be original restaurant­s from Ivana Raca (Raca Café and Ufficio) and Jackie Lin (Shoushin). The hall is open Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Amano Pasta opens Mike Angeloni, Adam Teolis and Yannick Bigourdain have opened Amano Pasta at Union Station, opposite the trio’s Union Chicken location by the York St. entrance. The menu includes farfalle with arugula pesto and strozzapre­tti with mussel; all prices are under $18. The 55-seat dining room is open daily from-11a.m. until late.

Craft Beer Market opens Painted kegs brighten up the new Craft Beer Market at 1Adelaide St. E. The two-storey restaurant has more than 400 seats (a 250-person beer garden opens this summer) and boasts 160 taps. The menu offers beer-can chicken ($24 a half ) and Sanagan’s brisket braised in dark beer ($27.50). Open Monday and Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 11a.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Oro closes Owner Connie Ciccociopp­o has closed Oro Restaurant at 45 Elm St., after selling the building to retire.
