Moustakas/Solarte Third baseman Mike Moustakas leads the Royals in just about every offensive category: .333 average with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBIs. Jays counterpart Yangervis Solarte, likely to get the bulk of the playing time at third with Josh Donaldson on the 10-day DL, is hitting .286 with two homers, four RBIs.

The Royals have four players on the 10-day DL, including outfielder Alex Gordon (hip) ... Ex-Jay Ryan Goins, who signed a minor league contract in January and cracked K.C.’s opening day roster, has had just 15 at-bats with seven strikeouts.
