KEY PLAYERS

Andujar/Solarte Miguel Andujar, 23, won the American League Rookie of the Month award for June, when he slashed .264/.302/ .560 with 20 RBIs. He has hit .455 with two home runs and 9 RBIs in six games against the Jays this year. Yangervis Solarte, who continues to man third base for Toronto while Josh Donaldson struggles with injuries, leads his team in home runs (16), RBIs (48) and is hitting a second-best .250, behind Teoscar Hernandez. The Yankees will be without second baseman Gleyber Torres, who was placed on the 10 day disabled list on Wednesday with a right hip strain. Torres, in the running for rookie of the year alongside Andujar, is hitting .294 with 15 home runs, 42 RBIs, a .555 slugging percentage and a .905 OPS in 63 games since being called up April 21. New York catcher Gary Sanchez is also on the sidelines with a groin strain. J.A. Happ could be auditioning for his next role in his start on Saturday; the left-hander is considered one of the top starters available as the trade deadline nears, and his name has been linked to the Yankees. Slugger Giancarlo Stanton is hitting .369 with five homers and 14 RBIs in his last 16 games for New York.
