Escobar/Solarte Twins third baseman Eduardo Escobar, reportedly on the trading block, has pop with 14 long balls and 58 RBIs. Jays counterpart Yangervis Solarte leads the club in homers with 17 after Sunday’s game-winning blast, one off his career high.

NEED TO KNOW

Marco Estrada (glute strain) will make a rehab start with Double-A New Hampshire on Monday instead of his scheduled start with the Jays … Santos has never started a majorleague game, but has made 15 career relief appearances as a Blue Jay. In two starts with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons this season, he allowed a total of runs on 10 hits over seven innings … The Twins activated DH/first baseman Logan Morrison (hip) on the weekend … Santana returns to the Twins rotation Wednesday after rehabbing from surgery to remove calcium deposits from his right middle finger in early February ... The Jays lead the season series 2-1.
