In a turnaround from her refusal to discuss anything related to politics, Taylor Swift revealed she’s voting Democratic in the 2018 midterms.

The pop megastar posted a long Instagram caption Sunday night. In it Swift, who is registered to vote in Tennessee, gave a detailed explanation about why she’s voting for Democrats Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for the House.

Swift also slammed Rep. Marsha Blackburn, from Tennessee, writing, “Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me.”

“In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” Swift wrote. “I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”

McGowan clarifies MeToo comment

Rose McGowan, one of the most vocal advocates of the #MeToo movement, is clarifying what appeared to be distressing comments about the revolutionary reckoning that swept through Hollywood the past year.

Days after the #MeToo movement’s first anniversary, an interview with the Scream actress published in London’s Sunday Times, declared that McGowan had deemed the #MeToo movement “bulls-t” and that Hollywood’s battle against sex- ual assault in the entertainment industry is only skindeep.

McGowan refuted the story on Twitter Sunday afternoon. “I never said #MeToo is a lie. Ever,” she clarified. “I was talking about Hollywood and Time’s Up, not #MeToo.”

Knightley criticizes Kate’s post-birth look

Keira Knightley is calling out Duchess Kate for her perfect appearance after giving birth.

Knightley, 33, wrote an open letter to her 3-year-old daughter, called “The Weaker Sex,” recently published in Scarlett Curtis’ book Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (And Other Lies), a collection of essays penned by stars, artists and activists.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actress compared her postbirth look to that of Duchess Kate, who had Princess Charlotte one day after Knightley gave birth to daughter Edie in May 2015.

“She was out of hospital seven hours later with her face made up and high heels on. The face the world wants to see,” Knightley wrote in an excerpt obtained by E! News. “Hide. Hide our pain, our bodies splitting, our breasts leaking, our hormones raging. Look beautiful, look stylish, don’t show your battleground, Kate.”
