York has divided its experiential learning opportunities into three sections: in the community, in the workplace and in the classroom.
In the community
Through community service, York students work directly with highimpact organizations, partaking in a wide range of activities such as mentoring, advocacy, outreach and awareness.

In the workplace
Workplace learning experiences include co-op, paid internship, placement or practicum. No matter the option attached to the program, students connect classroom experience directly to the labour market.
