Our community can’t recover without you.

$105 million

COVID-19 has exposed deep inequalities across the GTA. It has pushed even more people into hardship, and heaped more pressure on those already struggling. Racialized individuals, and those who live in low-income neighbourhoods, have borne the brunt of this pandemic. These gaps will continue to widen unless you step in to help. We need $105 million to sustain our annual investment in community at this critical time. Without these funds, the web of support provided by our GTA-wide network of social service agencies is threatened. Bharat Masrani, Group President and Chief Executive Officer of TD Bank Group and 2020 United Way Campaign Chair “Collectively we are not powerless, and a better tomorrow demands our attention today. As we make progress on the path toward recovery, those of us who have the means have an opportunity to support our communities and contribute to a more equitable recovery. If not now, when will there be a more impactful time to support our communities?” Clovis Grant, Chief Executive Officer, 3600kids, a United Way-supported agency “I lead a United Way agency that helps young people experiencing homelessness. We’re part of a much larger network of 280 community agencies across the GTA that work together to create change that is bigger and bolder than what one single organization can accomplish on its own. That network needs you right now. It’s the ‘glue’ that holds our community together.”
