Married 58 years to the love of his life, Catherine Howard (Nicky) Eaton (nee Martin). Loving father of Fredrik D'Arcy, and Flora Catherine (Rob). Devoted grandfather to Signy, Robert, Fredrik, and William. He loved his family, Friends, and good humour.

Businessman, diplomat, philanthropist, author. Passionate hunter, Јsherman, conservationist, mariner, aviation enthusiast, and patron of the Јne arts. He lived a full and happy life.
