‘You really loved flowers and we think of your great smile every time we see a beautiful blossom. We miss you very dearly.’

ATHANASIOS (TOM) PETROPOULOS Jan. 5, 1951 — Feb. 21, 2021

“Tom’s greatest joys came from spending time with his family. He went from playing Barbies while his daughters were young to playing hockey and soccer with his grandsons. He enjoyed golfing with his three eldest grandsons, going for long walks with his wife, and gardening with his two younger grandsons. He was a lifelong learner who took every opportunity to share his knowledge, from improving a golf swing to flooding an ice rink to crimping a pie crust. Most all, he found enjoyment in the simplest of things.”

CONSTANZO (ROCKY) DELLA ROCCA Feb. 5, 1930 — Feb. 20, 2021

“Costanzo loved being with his family and friends, and his home was always the gathering place for many family get-togethers. Costanzo loved to make pizza and soon ‘Rocky’s Pizza’ was a ‘must-have’ request for any event. When he was young, soccer was his game of choice and he never missed a chance to cheer on his favourite team, Lazio! Hockey was a close second, as he cheered and yelled at the same time at his beloved Leafs. Costanzo will remain in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten.”

LUCY ANDRIGHETTI Dec. 5, 1960 — Feb. 23, 2020

“It has been a very long year of healing but the pain still feels like it happens yesterday. You were given a wonderful gift of 59 years. You would always say that everything happens for a reason. While we do not know the reason, we will still to believe. We will remember all the wonderful times together. You leave a legacy to your family, friends, colleagues, all those that have met you, as well as anyone touched by your work at UHN. You really loved flowers and we think of your great smile every time we see a beautiful blossom. We miss you very dearly.”
