Tuesdays, 6 to 8 p.m. Adults can do their own Scrapbooki­ng project with a group of people who want to share ideas and projects.

During open hours in February. Pictorial quilter Carol Swinden will display her work using fabric and thread as a medium. Her work has been displayed in art galleries, published in magazines, and won awards in Canada and United States.

Thursday, Feb. 15, 6:30 p.m. Lisette Saulnier of the Caisse populaire de Clare will provide general informatio­n on why it is important to file your tax return, potential areas of deduction and reasons for taxation. Register by Feb. 14.

Wednesday, Feb. 21, 6:30 p.m. To highlight African Heritage Month, Désiré and Marie-Virginie Neyla will help you discover Cameroon, its history, customs and music. This program is in French and is in partnershi­p with Université SteAnne.

Isaiah W. Wilson Memorial Library

Children aged five and under can drop in every Friday morning to listen to stories. Parents and guardians are expected to stay with their children.

Saturday, Feb. 24, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Adults can join library staff for a fun two hours of painting. Participan­ts will be doing a mini painting to go in a mini frame. All supplies are provided, but participan­ts can bring their own brushes, if they prefer. Space is limited. Register by Feb. 20.

Sunday, Feb. 18, 2:15 to 4:15 p.m. The library is offering Scrabble board games for all ages. Enjoy a hot beverage while you play a game of Scrabble. We also offer French Scrabble board games.

Weymouth Waterfront Library • Pokemon Evening: the Trading Card

Wednesday, Feb. 21, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Do you have too many duplicate Pokemon cards? If so, come to the library and trade with others and meet new friends who have the same interests are you do. This program is for youth aged 5 to 18.

Wednesdays, 6 p.m. Enjoy a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate as you colour away the cares of the day. Colouring pages and pencils are provided, but participan­ts can bring their own if they choose. This program is for adults.

Rob Stork will lead participan­ts through a practical applicatio­n of story structure in writing. All writers and aspiring writers are welcome. This program is an initiative of Write On! writers group and is funded by Shelburne County Arts Council’s mentorship program. This program is for adults and teens. Register by Feb. 13.

Thursday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m. exciting new intergener­a- tional program offers a preschool story hour in the residents main lounge area at Roseway Manor. The program for preschool-age children, caregivers and residents of the manor includes story, play and snacks.

Button Art! Thursday, Feb. 22, 6:30 p.m. We will be turning silhouette­s into works of art with buttons. Bring your creative side and any spare jars of buttons you have at home. Girl Thing is a program for girls in Grade 4 to 6. Register by Feb. 20.
