Don’t go by the cartoon

In our March 7 issue of the Tri-County Vanguard, the regional cartoonist for our newspaper had drawn a cartoon saying you could now put kitty litter in the green bin for disposal.

While that is the case in Valley region, served by Valley Waste Resource Management (where the cartoon also appeared in those newspapers), it’s not the case for people in this region served by Waste Check. Kitty litter is not acceptable in green carts in the region served by Waste Check.
