Digby Admirals lacrosse registration

Registration for Digby Admirals lacrosse takes place Wednesday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the upstairs warm room of the Digby Arena.

The division birth year fees are as follows:

• Mini-Tyke 2012/13 $50

• Tyke 2010/11 $65

• Novice 2008/09 $160

• Peewee 2006/07 $160

• Bantam 2004/05 $160

• Midget 2002/03 $160 Make sure to bring your child’s health care card to registration.

Cash or cheque payable to “Digby Area Minor Lacrosse Association” is accepted.

There are some discounts, which include a $25 sibling discount and a $25 discount per family for parents volunteering as coaches.

Girls and boys are welcome and all first-time players will receive a free stick and practice ball.

The season will run from early April through mid-June, with two practices per week, for the first four weeks, then one practice per week for the balance of the season. Days/times to be determined.

The Digby Admirals will be playing games this season with the Valley Thunder (Berwick/ Kingston arenas) and possibly some city teams. “We will push to have two weekends of games in Digby,” says its Facebook page.

Scheduling details will follow once registration is complete and its known how many players and teams there will be.
