WNMHL Day of Champions

YARMOUTH ¬– On March 24 the Hubert’s Towing Atom AA Mariners will face off against Chebucto for the southern conference championship in Spryfield.

On March 9 the Mariners had won their playoff series against Acadia by defeating the Axemen 5-3 in game 3. Goals came from Ashton Samms, Drew Muise (Connor Stoddard), Lexx d’Entremont and Cruz Stoddard with a pair of goals.

The Western Nova Minor Hockey League is holding its Day of Champions this weekend. The event is being hosted at the LCLC in Bridgewater.

The following tentative schedule was posted on the league website earlier this month. Check the league website as the weekend approaches to confirm game times in the event some need to change.

The weekend schedule is: SATURDAY, MARCH 24 1:30 p.m. - Atom A (South Shore vs Acadia)

3:30 p.m. - Peewee B (Acadia vs West Hants)

5:30 pm - Bantam A (West Hants vs Clare/Digby)

7:30 p.m. - Midget A (Queens vs South Shore)

SUNDAY, MARCH 25

9:30 a.m. - Atom B (West Hants vs Acadia)

11:30 a.m. - Peewee A (Shelburne vs South Shore)

1:30 p.m. - Bantam B (Shelburne vs West Hants)
