Weymouth toy company takes healthy living to a new level
T-Shirt Kids Toys in business for two years
T-Shirt Kids Toys opened in 2016 and since then, they’ve made a lot of progress.
The Weymouth based company, a division of Sissiboo Investment Limited, promotes active living through plush-dolls.
“We encourage children to participate in activities they like to do,” said Patsy Hiltz, head of product development.
The dolls come with a T-shirt and a club membership.
Each month a calendar of activities is posted online to give kids a variety of activities to choose from to participate in, instead of looking at a screen all day.
They want to promote both active lifestyles and educational activities.
The five dolls include Sunshine, Ginger, Blossom, Berry, Rally and GoGo.
T-Shirt Kids Toys tries to give back to the community too.
Every week they host a healthy treat sale in Weymouth where proceeds go to the IWK.
The company works with the IWK.
T- shirt Kids Toys members help making Valentine’s day and cheer cards for kids in the Halifax Hospital.
“T-shirt Kids Toys tries to encourage kids at a young age to be thinking about other children who are less fortunate than them,” Hiltz said.
T-Shirt Kids will perform on the IWK telethon on June 3.
Recently, the company launched an online Youtube advertisement for the dolls. closely www .you tube .com/ watch?v=yDCy6jQDGvg
The company is currently manufacturing three story books, a colouring book, changes of clothing for the dolls and a new toy, G.R.A.B Bears.
Give, Reward And Bless bears are teddy bears with a secret message and compartment inside.
Products should soon be available for purchase.
“It’s really hard to break a new toy to the market.
But we’re trying hopeful.”
Toys are for sale online and a list of store locations that carry the dolls locally can be found on their website. www.t-shirtkidstoys.com/ and we’re
