Looking good on the green

-

The grass is looking green at the Yarmouth Links. It is still a little wet in places but hopefully the sun and wind will dry the course out as a lot of people are ready to play and get the carts out there.

We have a new manager this year by the name of George Watkins with new ideas going forward to make the Yarmouth Links a course that people will go away talking about.

This is my last term as president of the club and Ryan Goudey will take on this roll for two years.

The smaller greens, the water ponds, that winds that can come up out of nowhere – yes, it is wide open, but believe me that little two foot ditch is there. We have new garbage cans and ball washers out there, new tee blocks and yes, the new tees are being used.

This is my last term as president of the club and Ryan Goudey will take on this roll for two years. If you have never played before, or just keep looking at that set of clubs in the back room, get them out and come on down. Garth Nickerson, Yarmouth Links president
