Art from the heart

The Art Galley of Nova Scotia in Yarmouth will be presenting an inspiring and informative evening featuring the groundbreaking work of the Aboriginal Children’s Hurt and Healing Initiative (ACHH), which is a partnership between Indigenous communities, the IWK Health Centre and Dalhousie University. The event takes place Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. RSVP at agnsyarmouth@novascotia.ca or at 902-749-2248.

The evening will feature a presentation by Dr. Margot Latimer and Karlee Johnson, a short video, a question- and- answer session and a reception with light refreshments.

On view will be a selection of paintings from the Art from the Heart exhibition by young people involved with the ACHH Initiative. This event is supported by Medavie.
