Petite Rivière Vineyards partners with Clare Municipality
Petite Rivière Vineyards has launched two commemorative wines in celebration of Clare’s 250 years as a municipality.
The custom wines and labels were commissioned to celebrate and commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of Clare.
The wines became available July 17 at the Meteghan NSLC, and will also be available at local farmers’ markets and celebration events. Customers can order directly from the winery. This limited supply will be avail- able throughout the summer, in addition to the wines being included in events during other parts of the year.
“The Municipality of Clare and its Clare 250 organizing committee is excited to introduce these commemorative wines for our celebrations,” said Reanne Flynn, committee chair. “Both the red and the white wines are beautifully bottled with labels featuring two of Clare’s own artists. We hope they will be enjoyed thoroughly during the many festivities over the coming year.”
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Municipality of Clare and the Clare 250 organizing committee,” said Christian Perlat winemaker at Petite Rivière. “We have chosen two wines to showcase – Clare 250 White is a classic NS L’Acadie Blanc. The Clare 250 Red is a drumlin series wine that recently won an award in the All Canadian Wine Championship.”
