Sunday, July 29

• 11 a. m. All welcome to the Argyle Pubnico Baptist Church Sunday morning worship service.

• 2 to 4 p.m. Fun and games at the park. Potluck: bring something to share. Bouncy castles, hamster ball interactiv­e game, cotton candy. Food and fun for everyone. Also paddle boards with East Coast Paddle Company.

• 6: 30 p. m. Church service in the Argyle Head Historical Church.

Monday, July 30

• 2 to 3 p. m. seniors bingo, Glenwood hall. Put on by the Argyle Recreation Department.

• 7 p. m. Trivia with Charlene and Chris at Argyler Lodge. Team limit of eight. Registrati­on started on July 22. Sign up by phoning 902- 740- 3190. Prizes to be won.

Tuesday, July 31

• Argyle festival golf scramble. Nine-hole fun night for all ages. $ 10 per person, includes prize draw. Registrati­on at 5: 15 and shot gun start at 6. Pre-register by contacting Mitchell DeWare ( 902- 740- 4246) or mitchell. deware@gmail.com

Wednesday, Aug. 1

• 5: 30 p. m. Bud’s barbecue chicken supper, Glenwood hall. No reservatio­ns required. $ 10 per person. Promoting a previous Argyle Abuptic Festival. The fun is back on this year July 29 to Aug. 3.

Thursday, Aug. 2

• 8 to 10 a. m. Jon’s Abuptic breakfast, Argyle Lodge. $ 6 per person.

• 6 p.m. Abuptic parade. Nonmotoriz­ed. Theme: Let’s Have Fun. Starts at old Argyle school, ends at Camp Cove wharf. Contact number for more informatio­n: 902-740-7432.

• Meet & greet at the wharf. Camp Cove wharf after the pa- rade. Lobster boil, pie sale, ice cream, sundaes, hotdogs. Bring your own chair.

• Fireworks. Scheduled to start at dusk from Nanny Island. ( Alternate date is Friday, Aug. 3.)

Friday, Aug. 3

• 9 a. m. to noon: kayaking with Matt Delong, certified kayak instructor. Leave from the Argyler. Limited spots available. $15 per person. Interested persons were being asked to register by July 22 to reserve a spot. Contact number: 902-7403190.

• 9 a.m. to noon: skeet shoot.

• 3 to 8 p.m.: fish fry at Argyler Lodge. Takeout only. Feel free to eat outside and enjoy the view.

• 1 p.m.: Bud’s boat tour. Bring chair and life jacket if possible. Contact number: 902-643-2425.

• 6 to 8 p. m.: car rally- scavenger hunt. Contact: Darryl LeBlanc ( 902- 740- 3261). Fun for ages.
