Potential billing

The Town of Yarmouth has tallied the average for five years’ worth of calls handled by the Yarmouth dispatch centre for the volunteer fire departments the service serves.

Fire departments each pay roughly $1,200 a year now. This is what the town says the bill would be for a six-month period for this fiscal year if all departments were willing to pay their share of the service. The list is broken down into total calls over five years, av- erage calls and then the cost.
