ATOM B
Sweeny's Funeral Home Atom B played Shelburne Atom B over the weekend, losing 6-5.
ATOM A
Yarmouth Pink Star Barro Atom A played two away games Nov. 16 vs Western Valley. The first game was a nail-biter to the end. Scoring were Nate d'Entremont (assisted by Parker LeBlanc) in the first period and Dylan Scott scored (Parker LeBlanc assisting) in the third period. Austin Stoddard was in net. Final score Western Valley 3 – Mariners 2.
The second game saw further back-and-forth action. Scoring were Parker LeBlanc (assisted by Jake Sanford, Brody Brannen) in the first period. Parker LeBlanc and Samuel Green scored in the second period with assists by Brody Symonds, Parker LeBlanc and Brody Brannen. In the third period goals were scored by Brady Newell and Nate d'Entremont, with assists by Jesse Churchill and Parker LeBlanc. Jarriyn Maxwell was in net. This game ended in a tie 5-5 tie between Yarmouth and Western Valley.
MIDGET A
On Nov. 15 the JStrong Mariners played Liverpool at Queens Place in a league game, losing 6-2. Scoring for JStrong were Hunter Muise and Ben MacDonald. Assists went to Nicholas Gaudet with 2. Liam White was in net
On Nov. 16 the Mariners also had a 4-3 win over Western Valley in league action at the Mariners
Centre. Scoring were Chandler LeBlanc (2), Hunter Muise and Ethan Saulnier. Assists went to Rylan Dentremont (3) and Ben MacDonald. Tayvon Gabriel was in net
On Nov. 17 the Mariners had a 2-1 win over Western Valley at the Bridgetown Arena in league action.
Scoring were Connor Prouty and Ryland D’Entremont. Assists went to Dalton Sears, Ryland d’Entremont, Hunter Muise and Jacob Doucette. Liam White was in net
BANTAM A
The Yarmouth Western Riptide Bantam A girls won two home games this past weekend versus Colchester. Saturday saw a 5-3 victory with Madison Cushing scoring three goals. Issabelle d’Entremont and Courtney Fitzgerald also scored. Assists came from Jorden Nickerson and Rene Melanson. On Sunday the Riptide won 5-2. Issabelle d’Entremont and Rene Melanson each had a goal and an assist. Madison Cushing had two goals and Jorden Nickerson had one. France Boudreau has two asssists, Havanah Perry had one.
Marissa Fevens was in net for both games.
BANTAM AA
Wades Wire Traps Bantam AA Mariners hosted 2 league games verses Pictou. The Mariners lost their first game 4-1 and had a 2-1 win in Game 2. Riley Hubbard scored the only goal in game 1 assisted by Russel Pinksen. Goal scorers in Game 2 were chase Perry and Dakota Ryer, assisted by Riley Hubbard and Luke MacLeay.
BANTAM A
The GPK Refrigeration Bantam A Mariners hosted the Acadia Axemen for a double-header on Nov. 17.
The Axemen won Game 1 by a score of 3-0. Yarmouth goalie Braeden Hipson was stellar between the pipes, stopping 44 of 47 shots.
Game 2 saw the Mariners and Axemen draw a 2-2 tie. Scoring for the Mariners were Brody Smith and Cohen Nickerson, with Nolan Cottreau, Ryan d’Entremont and Lucas Cottreau adding assists.
