Weekend minor hockey results

PEEWEE A

The Charlesville Fisheries Peewee A Mariners hosted three games this past weekend.

On Friday night the Mariners fell to Clare 5-3. In net for the Mariners was Adam Bowie and Zander White. Scoring for the Mariners were Jack d’Entremont assisted by Damien Cottreau and Crofton MacAlphine; Maxime d’Entremont assisted by Jack d’Entremont and Damien Cottreau assisted by Maxime d’Entremont.

On Sunday the Mariners lost to Clare 3-2. Lexx d’Entremont scored both goals for the Mariners. Assists went to Maxime d’Entremont, Crofton MacAlphine, Sawyer Kristensen and Andre Hill.

In their second game on Sunday the Mariners tied Acadia 4-4. In net for the Mariners was Zander White. Scoring were Lexx D’entremont with 2, Declan Fitzgerald and Angelo Maskine. Assists for the game went to Brody Goodwin and Maxime d’Entremont with 2 each, and Sawyer Kristensen.

BANTAM AA

The Wade's Wire Trap Bantam AA Mariners split their weekend in West Hants facing the West Hants Warriors.

Game 1 was a 4-0 loss. Game 2 saw the Mariners come back for a 3-1 win. Russell Pinksen scored a pair of goals with assists from Cameron Brown and Carson d'Eon. Chase Perry scored with an assist from Luke Macleay. Jacob Atwood was in net.

The Wade's Wire Trap Bantam AA Mariners still hold on to their 2nd place spot in the Scotia Minor League with their last league game coming up against the South Shore Lumberjacks.

ATOM A

Yarmouth Pink Star Barro Atom A played two games over the Feb. 1-2 weekend versus Acadia Atom A. In the first game, a 5-2 win for Acadia, Brady Newell and Brody Symonds scored with assists from Nate d'Entremont, Brody Symonds, Brady Newell and Samuel Green. 7-3 win for Acadia. Brody Brannen, Dylan Scott and Nate d'Entremont scored with assists from Brady Newell, Carl Landry and Philip Richard. Jarriyn Maxwell and Austin Stoddard were in net.

BANTAM A

The GPK Refrigeration Bantam A Mariners recently played a two games against the Digby-Clare Ravens.

Last Wednesday saw the Mariners and Ravens play to a 2-2 draw. Scoring for the Mariners were Landon Watkins-Bonnar (assisted by Ollie Tipton and Blake Fish) and Blake Fish (assisted by Landon Watkins-Bonnar and Ollie Tipton).

Saturday saw the Mariners top Clare 5-3 at the Mariners Center. Leading the scoring for the Mariners was Alyre Richardson with two goals (Goal 1, unassisted ; Goal 2, assisted by Tyler Adams and Landon Watkins Bonnar.

Also scoring were Landon Watkins-Bonnar (Alyre Richardson, Nolan Cottreau), Brody Smith (Nolan Cottreau, Dominic Jacquard) and Nolan Cottreau (Brody Smith, Lucas Cottreau)

Braeden Hipson was in net for both games for the Mariners.

Scoring for the Ravens in that second game was Logan Comeau with a pair of goals (assisted by Zack Comeau and Chad Reddick) and Alex Theriault (assisted by Jayden Deveau and Jakeb Belliveau).
