MUISE, Henry William

-

Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2020 in the presence of his loving family at the Yarmouth Hospital. Born March 16, 1931 in Yarmouth he was a jack of all trades. He worked in a service station, was a salesman, owned his own body shop in Montreal. He was a fireman, a paramedic and he drove 18wheelers. He also loved to listen to music and dance. Henry was a self-taught builder and repairman, nothing was too hard for him. He was adopted and blessed by his predeceased parents, Alphonse and Maggie May Harrington from Hectanooga. Predeceased by his adoptive sister, Dorothy Moulaison, also of Yarmouth. During the later stages of Henry’s life he located his biological family which brought him great joy. Henry was predeceased by his biological father, Edward Bowden; his mother, Dorothy Bowden/ Muise; brothers, Edward Bowden/Theresa, Jack Bowden/Jessie, Gerald Bowden/ Betty, and sisters, Shirley/Carl Huczel, Linda/Jim Wiseman. Survived by his brothers, Jim Bowden/Lorraine, Joseph Bowden/Jeanette and Dan Bowden/Donna; sisters, Joan/Terry Butler and Mary Bowden. The absolute love of his life were his children Linda/Costa Stasinopoulos, Marlene Cole, Michael Muise, John Muise/Lisa and Lisa L’Heureux /Martin; his six lovely grandchildren, Chris, Robbie, Melanie, Vanessa, Melissa and Francis; four great grandchildren, Alexis, Yanni, Miles, and Meghan. Many nieces and nephews. Henry leaves behind his beloved companion, Genevieve Doucette and her children who loved him much. Henry had a special gift in life that he shared with all of his family and friends. He had an urgency in his spirit to live and enjoy life to the fullest. Each and every day he inspired all who knew him to do the same and appreciate and love each other while we journey through life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family asks that the service for Henry be for immediate family only due to the Covid19 virus and will give a later date for family and friends that we may celebrate Henry’s memorial Mass when things settle down. Thank you for being respectful during these trying times. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth where you can leave messages of condolence for the family by visiting www.huskilson.net.
