Keeping your feet happy is crucial to training and racing well. Balega’s newest training socks offer blister-resistant, padded support for tired toes.

Balega Hidden Comfort $15

The Hidden Comfort model made with elastane offers dense cushioning without adding bulk. The high tread count wraps the foot with support and a structured fit. Despite the soft cushioning for impact resistance, a mesh construction creates optimal ventilation, keeping feet dry and cool. Complete hand-linked toe seam and reinforced heel reduces friction and blisters and helps prevent hotspots. A comfortable ankle band and deep heel pocket ensures the sock stays in place. Dynamic new colours include candy f loss pink, neon orange, zesty lemon and teal but the more traditional colours of white, charcoal and black are also available.

Balega Women’s Enduro 4 No Show $14

Going sockless in triathlon is not an option for those who are blister-prone or who simply prefer riding and running with socks. Thankfully, Balega, a South African-based sock company, has created a line that’s sure to help you race and train in comfort. A Zulu word, balega means “to move with speed,” and their newest editions, the Women’s Enduro 4 No Show and the Hidden Comfort, will help you do just that. The Enduro 4 offers runners who are hard on their feet a soft cushion for every footfall. A deep heel pocket supports the foot and ensures socks don’t slip. Drynamix moisture whisking fibres keep feet dry, comfortable and blisterfree. Perhaps most appealing is the range of bright colours (to match any race kit) including lime/ bright blue, cerise/tangerine and grey/ bright purple.–
