VANKLEEK HILL COUGARS SPLIT WEEKEND GAMES RESULTS
The Vankleek Hill Cougars added another win to their season tally over the October 19 weekend.
The Cougars had the home ice advantage Saturday night over Saint-Isidore with a 6-3 win. Trystan Lavoie scored a hat trick in front of the home crowd. Samuel Lemay punched in a pair of goals and Justin Chaumont finished off the Vankleek Hill score with a single.
Assisting on the goals were Chaumont, Lemay, Tyler Allard, Shayne Allen, Nikolas Ayotte, Nicolas Castonguay, Zack Labbé, and Keean McEachern. Frederick DurocherBourdon guarded the Vankleek Hill net.
Scoring for Saint-Isidore were Jeremy Arbour, Patrick Ranger, and Ryan Wells. Goal assists came from Wells, Philippe Brunet, Jakob Brunette, Kevin Howson, and Sebastien Roy. Dawson Irving was in the net.
Sunday afternoon in Clarence Creek, the Cougars lost to the Castors 5-4 with Vincent Huneault, Jonathan Lacroix, Zacharie Leblanc, and Samuel Lemay scoring for Vankleek Hill. Assists came from Lemay, Nicolas Castonguay, Zack Labbé, Trystan Lavoie, and Joey Simoneau. Nicolas Wilson and Frederick Durocher-Bourdon shared goalkeeping duty.
Austin Laprade and Jacob Servant each popped in a pair of goals for Clarence Creek with Samuel Gaudet finishing off the score. Assisting on the goals were Servant, Jeremy Aubin, Dominik Bourgeois, Nicolas Gaumond, Connor Head-Smith, and Gabriel Rouselle. Andrew Larivière guarded the Castors net.
The Cougars will face the Gatineau HullVolant twice over the October 25 weekend.
