Pokemon fundraiser for Wayward Cats

TRURO – A Pokemon adventure in Victoria Park will help provide care for homeless cats. The Wayward Cats Society is holding a Pokemon hunt on Oct. 16. Participants will be encouraged to search for the Pokemon scattered throughout the park and challenge the three gym leaders. Winning a challenge will allow them to collect cards. Pokemon lanyards and badges will be provided and players are encouraged to dress as their favourite Pokemon or gym leader, as well as bring cards for trading. The hunt will begin at 12:15 p.m. and players will head out in 10-minute intervals to avoid overcrowding. Footwear suitable for steep inclines and stairs should be worn. The entry fee is $15. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult but non-playing adults do not need tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the Truro Vet Hospital.
