The public is more than welcome

-

The Nova Scotia 4-H Show is being held at the NSPE grounds, in Bible Hill, and members of the public are invited to visit at any time to view projects and competitions and talk with those involved. “We’ve always wanted the public to come but a lot of people don’t realize they’re welcome and it’s free entry,” said Robin Benedict, executive director of 4-H Nova Scotia. There will be over 40 projects and programs will be available. “Nova Scotia has about 2,300 members and is the only province that has a province-wide show. This is a huge event.” About 10,000 people in total take in the annual show, which includes animals, food competition, tractor driving, tug-of-war, photography, Lego, floral competition, a fashion show and more. Things begin Friday afternoon and run until late Sunday morning.
