Glenholme man sentenced on drug charges
TRURO – A Glenholme man convicted on drug charges was this week given an 18-month conditional sentence. Bryson Barrett, 24, formerly of Truro, pled guilty in October to separate charges of possessing cocaine and of possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. Barrett was ordered to spend
the first nine months of his sentence under full house arrest and must observe a curfew of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the last nine months. Sentencing conditions include not possessing or consuming alcohol, illicit drugs or other intoxicating substances, and not entering establishments where alcohol is served. He also pled guilty to two counts of failing to attend previous court dates. As well, Barrett was ordered to pay $156 in victim surcharges.
