Former councillor to receive human rights award

Award named after the late Dr. Burnley Allan “Rocky” Jones, a well-known community leader who grew up in Truro. The awards are presented each year by the Human Rights Commission and Partners for Human Rights, a group of organizations dedicated to creating more respectful communities through promotion of human rights.
